Dealer Award For Cowan Bros
At the recent Case 2016 Dealer Convention held in Italy, both of CASE’s Irish dealers were officially recognised for their success with the brand. Cowan Brothers with bases in Eglinton and Mallusk received the ‘Dealer of the Year 2015’ award for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Asia) region and Jim Macadam Equipment from Dublin was presented with ‘The Spirit of CASE’ award 2015.
‘Dealer of the Year’ was awarded in recognition of overall performance, volume of growth and brand representation in the market. When Equip talked to managing director David Cowan he was still a little surprised at the honour.
“My father and I went over to Italy to our normal dealer event and it came as a major shock when we were announced as the Dealer of the Year. I was looking around me to see where this other Cowan Brothers came from.
“We have been with CASE from October 2014, and during this time we have had great success with the product and working with their team. The experience with CASE has exceeded all our expectations and it’s great to be involved with a company that has such a focused vision of the future. We are confident that CASE will go from strength to strength and we are happy to be part of that.
“After just over one year of trading in our new Mallusk depot, this is a tremendous accolade to be given when you consider some of the major dealers from very high prestige regions. It means we must have been doing something right in 2015. “I am also delighted for all the sales and service people who work for us. This award gives them something concrete to show for all their efforts and hard work.
“Although this was from the construction side of CNH, we are also doing rather well with Case IH, the agri side of the business that we represent for counties Antrim and Down where we have boosted our market share to just over 25%, almost twice the figure there has ever been in these areas.“
LONG STANDING LEVELS OF SERVICE
The Spirit of CASE award was presented to Jim Macadam Equipment in recognition of heritage and loyalty to the brand, long standing high levels of service and backup, plus brand representation in the market. Director, Darren Macadam said: “CASE has been a great success in Ireland for Macadam’s, built on high quality backup and service. With the launch of further new models in the new D Series excavator range, and judging from the sales achieved in late December and early January in Ireland for Macadam’s, the D series is set to continue the trend of higher market share in Ireland for CASE.”
